The ancient city liangzhu has many mysteries which haven’t been solved. A recent study found that the ancient city was constructed in two phases, with large-scale water conservancy prototype, its rise and development was heavily based on geographical environment. The research could provide important clues for the study of the origin of ancient Chinese cities and prehistoric man-land relationship.
