Gomphothere hunting at an early Clovis site

A study of an archaeological site in Mexico finds evidence of the early Clovis culture in North America more than 13,000 years ago, along with evidence for elephant-like gomphotheres as Clovis prey. The Clovis culture represents the earliest well-defined North American foraging group, although its origins remain unclear.
