Since the 1966 when Xingtai earthquake in Hebei province occurred, the significant development has been made for the alternating EM field technique in earthquake monitoring and prediction. The control source extremely low frequency (CSELF) and satellite EM technologies emerged with new progress of their data processing and data mining, and mark the latest advances in this area.
