Changing climate trends since the late 1980s may partially explain stagnant crop yields in Europe, according to a study. Wheat and barley crop yields have stagnated since the early 1990s, coinciding with a warming growing season, but it is uncertain whether there may be a cause-and-effect relationship between the crop yields and climate.
