Food safety is an important issue for people’s livelihood, and also an important indicator to measure the quality of people's lives in a country. This paper around the characteristics of author’s research briefly summarizes the latest progresses of rapidly detecting foodborne pathogenic microorganisms based on the recognition of characteristic genes.
